We are hiring a Frozen Department Associate from Bayonne to join our team and help deliver a great customer experience. 

Your responsibilities will include stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized department, and following all safety and company policies. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring customers receive prompt and courteous service.

Pay Range: $17.5 to $19.5 Hourly (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Rotational shifts, must be available on weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities as Store Associate role in Bayonne:

• Price, stock, and rotate frozen food merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in refrigerated and freezer areas.
• Check and monitor temperature and condition of storage areas and report any issues.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Unload deliveries and transport merchandise to designated areas.
• Maintain accurate records of markdowns, spoilage, and inventory.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures while using cleaning products and equipment.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders, and balers (if 18+).
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily goals.
• Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked and attractively faced.

Qualifications & Skills to Join our Retail Store in Bayonne:

• Must be at least 18 years old (to operate equipment).
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in cold storage areas for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Friendly and professional communication with Bayonne customers and coworkers.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hour shifts).
• Regularly lift and move products weighing up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders and work at varying heights when necessary.
• Tolerate exposure to cold, moisture, and cleaning agents.
